2- Spread the thick dough and, with the help of a pasta cutter, cut discs that will be placed on a plate in the oven. If you don’t have a pasta cutter, you can roll the dough on itself, form a roll and cut it into slices.
3- Bake at 160 ºC for 40 minutes. Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar. Wrap the polvorones in tissue papers of different colors.
Now you have to let them cool, it is convenient that they rest 24 hours on the oven tray before handling. Serve sprinkled with icing sugar and, if you wish, wrap them with colored paper. The more fun the packaging, the more palatable they will be. We can also try other alternatives. If we separate the dough into 2.3 or 4 parts and add a spoon of orange, lemon, pineapple zest, we will have polvorones of different flavors.
