Rudrama Devi (c. 1245-1289) was the warrior queen of the Kakatiya dynasty in southern India — raised as a son by her father Ganapatideva (taking the male title Rudradeva Maharaja) since he had no male heir. One of very few women to formally rule a major South Indian kingdom, she successfully defended the realm against multiple invasions. Marco Polo visited her court and praised her wisdom.
Subject of the 2015 Telugu film Rudhramadevi.
Rudrama does not currently appear in the US Social Security Administration's top 1,000 girls' names, so we don't publish a US rank or birth count for it. That says nothing about the name's standing elsewhere in the world — only that it sits outside the ranked US data we rely on.
In Pythagorean numerology the letters of Rudrama reduce to 4, The Builder. This is a traditional interpretive system, not a factual claim about the name.
