Jael (יָעֵל) is the Hebrew word for the mountain ibex or wild goat. In the Book of Judges (4–5), Jael is the Kenite woman who slew the Canaanite general Sisera by driving a tent peg through his temple — celebrated in the Song of Deborah.
Jael is widely used in Israel as Yael. Yael Stone (born 1985) is the Australian actress.
Jael reduces to nine — the number of decisive judgement.
