Rahab (רָחָב) is the Canaanite woman of Jericho who helped Joshua's spies in the Book of Joshua. The name means "broad" or "spacious" in Hebrew. She is listed in the genealogy of Jesus (Matthew 1:5).
Rahab is widely used in religious Christian and Jewish families.
