Sorghaghtani Beki (c. 1190-1252) was a **Nestorian Christian Mongol princess** — daughter-in-law of Genghis Khan, **mother of Kublai Khan and three other Great Khans (Möngke, Hulagu, Ariq Böke)**. After her husband Tolui's death, **she refused remarriage and personally educated her four sons**, each of whom would conquer a quarter of the known world. **The 13th-century historian Bar Hebraeus called her "the most remarkable woman in the world."**
