Wanda is a Polish legendary queen — the daughter of Krakus, the legendary founder of Kraków. She refused to marry a German prince and drowned herself in the Vistula rather than submit.
Wanda was popular in 20th-century America (peaked at #143 in 1934) but has declined. The Marvel character Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) has revived interest.
Wanda reduces to four — the number of legendary queen.
