Naiki Devi (12th c.) was the **dowager queen of the Chaulukya (Solanki) dynasty of Gujarat** — regent for her young son Mularaja II. **In 1178 CE, she personally led the Gujarati army at the Battle of Kasahrada and decisively defeated Muhammad of Ghor** — **the only major Indian victory over Ghor**, who would later return to conquer northern India after her son's reign.
