Tarsilla is the diminutive of Tarsia. **Saint Tarsilla (d. c. 581)** was the paternal aunt of **Pope Gregory the Great** who, on her deathbed, reported a vision of Christ welcoming her — recorded by Gregory himself in Dialogues Book IV.
